Campus Ministry"Win the Campus for Christ today, win the world for Christ tomorrow.", Dr. Bill Bright In different Universities of Rwanda and in many Colleges there are goups, which are called "Students New Life Groups". We train students in prayer, evangelism, discipleship and leadership. Community MinistryWomen TodayWomen meet for prayer and fellowship in small groups. We focus on victims of the genocide. Many lost their husbands and families and have been raped. But there are as well thousands of women whose husbands are in prisons. All of them are in very difficult situations, both emotionally and economically. Our goal is to teach them in prayer and evangelizing and to help them in their needs spiritually and physically. As next step we want to reach influential women in our country by conferencies, seminairs and fellowships. Athletes in ActionWe have a volley-ball team in Kigali and a soccer team in Butare. As many people are attracted by sport, we want to reach them by our sport ministries. ExecutiveWe encourage executives and professionals to meet for prayer. At many places there are groups that meet over lunch time or in the evening. We organise dinners in hotels to reach top executives with the gospel. CrossroadsIn Kigali there is a alliance of 18 associations to help victims of AIDS. Campus pour Christ Rwanda supports this allicance in spiritual things and wherever we can. Outreach to Prisoners150,000 prisoners are accused of genocide. We visit them to show the Jesus film and for evangelisation. 40,000 prisoners viewed the JESUS film, publicly repented and were liberated from prison. We are involved in reconsiliation. We have the chance to go to camps where those who got free are prepared to join their families. There we help them by concelling, teaching and prayer. For those in deep need we provide clothes or medicines as far as possible. Coverage MinistryJesus Film Project
We have the poject "One Thousand hills for Christ" for the year 2004 - 2007. We are going to cover the whole country with Jesus Film presentations and with the gospel. In 2003 we will finish the translation of the Jesus Film as Audio Tape for Radio in our local language Kinyarwanda. We are also translating the Jesus Film for Children in Kinyarwanda. We want to show it to orphans, to street children, in Primary and Secondary schools. Since 1998 the “JESUS” film has been shown on TV each Easter and Christmas. |
